{{.Shooting Through Lace.}}

A couple nights ago, after my mini human had gone to bed with our kitty cat, Miss Mia, I realized I had not taken a shot for my project 365. I was looking around my room (again) for some last minute inspiration, when I remembered a tutorial I had read recently about shooting through things from the I Heart Faces community.

A-ha! Inspiration! I sometimes shoot through things like trees and bushes, and once took a couple shots through the book cass at a local library. This time, however, I used a piece of peach lace that I’ve kind of been obsessing over lately. Here’s my collage. I had a lot of fun, and I really like the soft romantic feel of the lighting.

{{.Project 365 – Update 5.}}

I can’t believe today is day 165/365. I’m so excited about how far I’ve come in this amazing project. If you’re interested in this project, check it out here.

Here are some of the things I’ve learned since I started.

1) Skipping a day here or there, isn’t going to kill me. To date, I believe I’ve missed 4.
2) Going back to places you’ve been helps you not only document your 365, but it also documents the change in that area too!
3) Support other people who are doing 365 day projects! It’s so much easier to do something when you’ve got a buddy there to support you.
4) Don’t give up. Keep pushing yourself. You’re the only one that can truly motivate you.

365 – part 1 (Day 001-012)

So it’s been a while. I’ve successfully gotten through post 12.. After going back and counting the days all over again, last night I took a few minutes and wrote the day # on all my calendar pages, so now I can just look at todays date & see what post # I’m on. I’m not going by any pre-set themes or using anything like that, these are simply pictures of my life, and occasionally my clients. So far, I’m interested to see what/who/etc I pick at the end of the day. So far, 5/12 pics have my mini human in them, 3/12 have my Love, and 4/12 are of non humans or fur babies. Equally as interesting (to me) is that Miss Mia and myself have each been part of 1/12 pics.. I am not really picking them based on anything, but I’m interested to see how far I get. I can’t guarintee that my posts will be with regularity, or with any rhyme or reason, but I’ll try to pst often!
